Beard Liberation Front warns Starmer against bringing back Peter Mandelson’s moustache
The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has warned Labour leader Keir Starmer against any attempt to bring back Peter Mandelson’s moustache.
Reports suggest that the former Hartlepool MP and New Labour spin doctor is once again advising the Labour leadership
The campaigners say that Mandelson’s moustache was reported missing, presumed lost, in the early New Labour period as one of the first casualties of the rise of clean-shaven revisionist politics
