Tory Chair resigns. Time to make June 24th National Oliver Dowden day

In Uncategorized on June 24, 2022 by kmflett

The Chair of the Tory Party Oliver Dowden has resigned after a series of unfortunate election results.

He hardly made much mark in the role though and was far better known for his time as Culture Secretary. He started the statue part of Johnson’s Culture Wars. He was against taking down or even moving statues of slavers and racists. He was for putting up statues (not that he did).

Surely Dowden should be remembered each June 24th by the construction of a lego statue of himself, followed swiftly by its toppling?
