The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, is consulting supporters on whether or not Dominic Raab, who is standing down as a Tory MP at the next Election should grow a beard of political defeat.
The campaigners say that it has become fashionable for male politicians, previously clean shaven, to grow a beard on political defeat, following Al Gore’s failure in a US Presidential Election.
