The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has named England Test captain as the England Cricket Beard of Summer 2023.
The BLF Cricket Committee deliberated for some while before determining that Stokes had shaved Moeen Ali for the annual accolade.

BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, competition bristled but we congratulate Ben Stokes on winning the England Cricket Beard of Summer. We hope his Beard Power continues into autumn with the World Cup due
