A YouGov poll on 13th June showed Reform the political company owned by Nigel Farage just edging the Tories by a percentage point. The Election is three weeks off but it does look as if Farage could be spending up to the next 5 years in Clacton.
He may have other ideas. The Times reports (13th June) that he was one of 100 guests who attended a London fund raising dinner for Trump in Kensington on12th June. Donald Trump Jnr was in attendance. Farage cant donate as a UK citizen (with a German passport) but somehow appeared at the event where Mediterranean food, presumably kebabs, was served.
Farage being a great British patriot presumably missed the asparagus and strawberries that might have been central to such an event held in June in the Capital. We can however be sure that fine wines etc were served and Farage’s ‘beloved’ pint of public image beer was nowhere to be seen
