The Beard Liberation Front the informal network of beard wearers has said that its 4th July exit poll an extrapolation from the main poll suggests the Commons is on track for the most MPs with beards since 1945.
The rise in the numbers of Labour MPs is behind the prediction. Just as clean shaven Blairism could not stop Robin Cook and Frank Dobson so clean shaven Starmerism can’t prevent the rise of beard power in Labour’s Parliamentary ranks
