Gareth Southgate to join Beard Hall of Fame.
The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has said that following his resignation as England football manager Gareth Southgate has joined the Beard Hall of Fame.
He joins other notable sportsmen including Jurgen Klopp, Harry Kane, Jimmy Anderson and Moeen Ali.
The virtual Hall of Fame showcases beard wearers who have promoted a positive image of the hirsute in public life.
Gareth Southgate grew a beard in 2015. He became England Men’s football manager in 2016 and since then he has become England’s most successful hirsute manager in history
