Milo Haywood, according to the BBC a celeb chef, has been doing a masterclass at Grey Gables. This involves foraging and clearly this week’s scriptwriter is an enthusiast. Neil and Susan go foraging and in the end Susan gets to meet Milo. Lily thinks Milo is a bully, which seems likely, as well as being charming of course. Expect Gregg Wallace to make an Archers appearance in due course..
Bullying
As well as Milo, Freddie tells Vince he is being bullied by workers at the abbatoir because of his role in getting one of their number sacked. Vince, unimpressed, tells Freddie to get on with being a manager. He needs to join a union. Indeed quite a few things in Ambridge would go better if there were more union members
Hen Party
Chelsea and Fallon are involved in catering in various ways for a hen party. It is Ambridge but no actual hens seem to be involved. Natasha claims that is moonlighting (it isnt they were taking time off and not using the tea room facilities) but suggests, in fact demands, that in future the tea rooms officially offer such gigs.
