Tribute paid to Moeen Ali’s Beard Power as he retires from International Cricket
The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has paid tribute to England cricketer and Beard of the Year 2023 Moeen Ali, after he announced his retirement from International Cricket.
Moeen has been a key member of England cricket teams for some years and is in the top five of England all rounders making a decisive impact with both bat and ball.
His beard is iconic and there is no question that his Beard Power has contributed significantly to his success on the field.
BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, Moeen’s beard and England cricket have been the dream team. We hope he will continue to feature in other areas of the game
