Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood voted Beard of Autumn 2024
The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers has said that Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has been voted Beard of Autumn 2024
He took 43.7% of over 3,000 votes in the on-line poll. Cricketer Moeen Ali was second taking 26.8% of the vote
The Beard of Autumn is the last of four quarterly awards before the annual Beard of the Year in December.
There were two preliminary rounds of voting with a final Beard Off vote
In the first Close Shave Round Craig Revel Horwood & Gary Lineker shaved the opposition while Moeen Ali and William Dalrymple triumphed in the second Close Shave
BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, we think Craig Revel Horwood is the first ever Strictly judge to wear a beard in the history of the show. Without question the beard has added further gravitas to his already weighty judgements on the dance routines.
