The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has welcomed the news that Thomas Tuchel has been agreed as the new manager of the England Men’s football team.
His appointment guarantees that Beard Power will be at the centre of England Men’s football after the departure of Gareth Southgate
BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, we have watched the football management career of Tuchel for a while. We are pleased that he has come to understand the importance of beard power at the top level of the men’s game. However his beard has on occasion had an element of eccentricity which may lead to some interesting results on the pitch.
