This week YouGov ran a poll about whether it is acceptable to have Yorkshire Puddings with Christmas Dinner or not. One might think that if the Roast Beef of Old England was on the Christmas dinner table this would be fine, but it would, perhaps, be a little unusual with Turkey or Chicken. It might not fit that well with a Vegan Nut Roast either and even Wetherspoons does not offer Yorkshire Puddings with any of its Christmas meals.
The YouGov poll found that 68% found the idea of Yorkies with Christmas dinner as completely acceptable. Looking at the breakdown by political party however 76% of Reform UK Ltd supporters found it completely acceptable the highest support by far.
There was a twist however. While just 4% overall found Yorkies with Christmas dinner completely unacceptable this rose to 6% with supporters of Reform UK Ltd.
As the July Election underlined YouGov polls are not that accurate but the details are here:

Yorkies with ice cream and chocolate sauce! I can’t imagine any food that would not be enhanced with Yorkshire Pudding accompanying.
