Marx’s suggestion for New Year (1861). ‘drink only lemonade..do nothing’

At New Year Marx was feeling unwell (as he often was) and wrote to Engels (8th January 1861) with his cure:

no smoking, CASTOR OIL, drink only lemonade, eat little, no spirits whatever, do nothing, stay at home
