The current JD Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival which runs until 16th March is marking International Women’s Day with 30 beers brewed by Brewsters.
Its a welcome idea but CAMRA got there a long time ago. A media view of CAMRA is that its basically blokes with beard and bellies (not even slightly like me) but part of the beerlist for the 8-10th March 1995 London Drinker Beer Festival highlights an IWD focus.
The festival was held at the Camden Centre opposite St Pancras Station in central London and continued until recent times when Camden decided the building needed to be modernised.
