As often with Nigel Farage what you see is not what you get.
On Monday he ‘unveiled’ what he claimed were 29 new Reform UK Councillors. The Independent reported that in fact only 9 were new and of those only three are standing in the May Council elections.
Farage denied that the event was designed to distract from the civil war in Reform about, essentially, just how racist it should be.
