The Times has published yet another Editorial attacking trade union organisation and the Employment Relations Bill (currently in the Lords).
It is particularly exercised on this occasion by measures that would make it easier for workers to access Employment Tribunals.
Its worth keeping in mind that Murdoch’s view is a minority one on the side of Capital. Many larger employers have partnership agreements with unions recognising the usefulness of a degree of working together. Union members may sometimes have their doubts about how well it works for them. That discussion however is in a very different place to Murdoch’s hardline anti-unionism.
As ever the best antidote to Murdoch is to join a union or if you are already a member recruit some of your colleagues
