Police have been busy arresting people who, peacefully, protest about genocide in Gaza. One arrest in Leeds involved someone holding a page from the satirical magazine Private Eye. For those with longer memories the Spitting Image portrayals of dim and thuggish police come again to mind.
Protest of course will continue and Sunday 20th July saw a boat flotilla for Palestine on the River Lea in north-east London from Tottenham Lock through Lea Valley Marina and Hackney. Protest comes in many forms and (I wasnt able to be there) pictures provide no evidence of the Police Special Boat Force in pursuit
