On the buses. The real reason why Angela Rayner moved to Hove

In Uncategorized on September 2, 2025 by kmflett

The Telegraph and indeed sections of the MSM are obsessed with Angela Rayner. The latest (back end of the summer silly season) story involved her buying a property in Hove.

However the Telegraph employs few actual journalists these days (as opposed to those who have views) and missed the key reason for Rayner’s move.

Between May and September 1873 Karl Marx’s daughter Eleanor Marx (Tussy) lived and worked as a teacher in Montpelier, Brighton. This has been sufficient for Brighton and Hove Bus to name a vehicle after her which appears to be still in service.

The TUC is in Brighton next week and it might be that Ms Rayner will be found taking a ride on the Eleanor Marx bus
