The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has said that former Mansfield MP Ben Bradley will not be considered for any further beard related contests such as Beard of the Year, after he defected from the Tories to Reform.
Bradley was voted Parliamentary Beard of the Year in 2017 and 2019, when he beat Jeremy Corbyn for the annual honour.
BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, one of our core principles is that people should be able to dress and appear as they want. That is clearly not something that Reform supports and in joining them Ben Bradley has ruled himself out of consideration for any future beard contests
