In troubled times it is perhaps reassuring to see invest some hope in humanity which is essentially what YouGov’s poll on when Spring starts does.

The majority go for Meteorological Spring which is March 1st or the Spring Equinox which is March 20th.

The survey does miss out the traditional start of Spring in the UK which is the beginning of February when there is enough daylight to work the land.

Those who think Spring relates to daffodils, might reflect that they appear in supermarkets in early January…
