The Times is a supporter of US imperialism and whoever is administering it in the White House. However its Editorial on 19th June suggests that it has run out of patience with Donald Trump.
The Times may not reflect on it but it is the latest in a series of defeats for US imperial power from Vietnam to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Even so its warmongering is still capable of inflicting death and destruction on a global scale, as of course is Putin’s Russia if it is so minded.
