The above letter appears in The Times (11th July). Despite the fantasies of Farage it underlines who the real British Establishment is. It may however also find agreement from the thesis promoted in New Left Review by Perry Anderson & the late Tom Nairn that Britain’s bourgeois revolution was incomplete, leaving the aristocracy with a powerful role.
