Dolly Parton who has sadly died at 80 played the Sunday Legends slot at Glastonbury in 2014.

The same year Glastonbury paid tribute to Tony Benn who had died earlier in 2014.

Benn was not a Country Music fan (as far as is known) while Dolly Parton was certainly never a member of the Labour Party.

Both however despite their fame had a focus on the less well-off in society and what could be done about it.

Bringing them together at the same event in 2014 reflects a world which we should be remembering not losing.
