Workers sacked after Brewdog Insolvency will get nothing

In Uncategorized on September 18, 2026 by kmflett

AlixPartners who are in charge of the administration process after Brewdog entered administration in March 2026 have reported that the nearly 500 workers sacked are owed £489,000 in pay and holiday pay but will get nothing as their insufficient funds.

Some may be entitled to money from the Government Insolvency Service. Payouts are capped at £719 a week but to be eligible workers must have two years continuous service. The amount is worked out based on age and length of service. It is not in short huge amount which is why voluntary redundancy schemes proliferate where employers can fund them.

Comment from James Watt is awaited..
