‘Faithful’ voted Beard of Autumn 2026
The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has said that Michael Sheen currently a Faithful in the Celebrity Traitors has been voted Beard of Autumn 2026 in an on-line poll.
He got over 60% of the vote with Michael Rosen and Mothin Ali tied in second place. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani was fourth
It is the last of the four seasonal contests that lead to Beard of the Year in December.
The award looks for people in the public eye whose beards have made a positive impact. Obviously this is a matter of debate, hence the vote.
After votes were aggregated across two close shave rounds the four finalists for the Beard Off vote were determined
BLF Organiser Keith Flett said, autumn is the time for beards as nights draw in and the weather gets chilly. Competition bristled. Clearly Michael Sheen’s Faithful stand in the Celebrity Traitors helped his vote. Let’s hope he doesn’t end up as Traitor…
