Reform UK & swearing. Does Farage set the tone?
The undercover ITV report into Reform UK broadcast on 18th October unsurprisingly uncovered a whole barrel full of bad apples. Racists, fascists, sexists, Islamophobes & people who had plans for violence. It also revealed a Reform HQ that runs an operation to explain away all this until it just becomes impossible to do so.
One perhaps less expected thing, and one reason why the programme appeared after the watershed was the amount of swearing. F*ckings & c*nts peppered most sentences.
I have been known on occasion to swear myself. I do visit the kind of places where profanities are likely to be heard- pubs. And yes you do hear swearing in pubs, but not a great deal. In fact if someone goes on swearing in most pubs they’ll be ejected.
What makes Reform UK the party of prolific profanities is interesting. It must be suspected that Farage himself does a good bit to set the tone here.
