The Beard Liberation Front, the informal network of beard wearers, has congratulated Lula da Silva on his victory in the Brazilian Presidential election. In the second round of voting he came from behind to beat clean shaven reactionary Flavio Bolonsaro.
Lula took 51.76% of the vote to Bolsonaro’s 48.24%
Lula has one of the most iconic beards in global politics and his victory underlines that beards are election winning.
