Reform held another of their Monday press conferences on 26th October. The venue was the Lindley Hall (opened 1904) in Westminster. It holds around 540 people. However even though Farage and Jenrick spoke on Reform’s response the Budget, which doesn’t take place until Wednesday, attendance from the press was minimal.
The BBC have yet to catch up but many media outlets clearly realise that after successive scandals and issues support for Reform is currently tanking along with whatever policy Farage has just made up.
The Mirror quotes Farage as saying that Monday’s are busy days for business who may have had other matters. He also blamed ‘staff incompetence’ for the lack of attendance, presumably meaning Reform staffers. They need to join a union.
