From 26th October the section of Oxford St from Oxford Circus to Marble Arch is people only. It’s been a long time coming and as the picture from BBC London journalist Tom Edwards underlines when it happens people will come.
There has been sniping about cyclists and cycle routes need to be given a greater focus.
That aside a reminder that changing things can work for the better…
