The significance of this Times Editorial (28th October) should not be missed.
Times Editorials quite frequently reference Farage and Reform along the lines of, it could be an alternative if need be. Think for example about right-wing media in France views Le Pen. It’s clear however that Farage is no longer regarded as a serious contender. That of course is not the be all an end all but it marks an important moment. Calling out Reform’s racism is essential work.
